Legal
Privacy Policy
How we handle your information — including the voices, stories, and memories you entrust to us.
Lifetime Remembrance (“Lifetime Remembrance,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides AI memorial technology that helps families and funeral professionals create a dignified, interactive remembrance of a person. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or services (the “Service”), you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact and lead details — your name, email address, and organization when you request access, contact us, or sign up.
- Account information — your email and a secured (hashed) password for accounts that can build keepsakes.
- Memorial content — the material you provide about a person in order to create their memorial: their name, date of birth, biographical details and stories, and audio recordings of their voice (and, in the future, photos and video). We use this to create a voice and a conversational profile of the person.
- Communications — messages you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Basic log and device data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed).
- A sign-in cookie to keep you logged in to the builder. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use information
- To provide and operate the Service — including creating a voice and an interactive memorial profile from the material you provide.
- To respond to your inquiries and provide support.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- To send you service and, where permitted, occasional product communications (you can opt out).
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Voice, likeness, and sensitive information
We treat voice recordings and the voice and likeness profiles we create as sensitive. We use them only to provide the memorial you requested, and we do not sell them. Creating a memorial of a person requires appropriate consent and authority — see our Terms of Service.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers who process data on our behalf to run the Service (for example, hosting and the AI voice and conversation technology that powers the memorial), under confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
- for legal reasons, if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security;
- in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), with notice where required.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service and maintain your account, and as required by law. You may ask us to delete your information or a memorial you created; we will do so subject to our legal obligations.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of marketing emails at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. To exercise any of these, contact us at rock@lifeinops.com.
Children
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Where we operate
We operate from the United States. If you access the Service from elsewhere, you understand your information may be processed in the United States.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above.
